knife-inspired dungeon quawl. that's what you call dungeon crawlers when your mental prototype of dungeon crawling is dragon quest 3 instead of wizardry or whatever. everyone already knows this and i didn't need to explain it. sorry you were the last one to find out. made in 60 minutes

last fight was especially exhilarating!
Every single damn person in the dungeon when you randomly encounter them:
"Knife to meet you >:] "
i had fun killing
I stabbed them all. that's the way of the blade
So glad I played this! Though it took me a few tries to figure out how this game worked and I died a few times along the way, it just made me all the more determined to find what was at the end of those long caves full of Knife Wifes.
Though the game was playful in nature, the minimalist dungeon designs and the tension from having no save states and limited resources meant that it does function well as a sort of deconstruction.

I ended a whole zero lives on my succesful attempt so I think she just has the wrong girl.
